For some inspiration for your camp program, check out the below sample itinerary. We can provide the food and accommodation – all you need to do is organise your tours and transport.


3 Day Margaret River Discovery – approximate cost $220 per person (depending on group size and catering options selected) including catering, accommodation and activities for 3 days (own transport required).

Day 1:  Travel to Wharncliffe Mill stopping off for lunch at Busselton Foreshore or Rotary Park in Margaret River (participants to bring their own packed lunch).  Unpack and get set up before enjoying some afternoon tea (provided).


Meet an education specialist from the Department of Parks and Wildlife who will take you on a guided two hour exploration of the marvellous macro invertebrates in the nearby spring-fed stream


Have an early dinner (provided) before heading out with the torches to see the sensational night life in the forest, with a wealth of information about the nocturnal forest creatures imparted by a knowledgeable Eco Education Officer who will guide your spotlighting discovery.

Stay overnight in dorm accommodation.  Prepare and serve your own breakfast (provided) and clean up before heading out for a fun filled guided Megafauna Experience at Mammoth Cave.

Participate in an interactive presentation discovering Australia’s unique megafauna history, discuss extinction theories and examine fossil casts and extant skulls. Participate in a 'bone dig' in the CaveWorks theatrette, while learning about the process involved in conducting a paleontological dig.  Explore the ‘living museum’, home of the megafauna, on a guided tour of the awe inspiring Mammoth Cave


Enjoy a picnic lunch (food provided) at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.  Climb the lighthouse tower for the full Cape Leeuwin experience, before taking a stroll through the grounds to soak up some maritime history.

Head back to Wharncliffe Mill and enjoy some free time before dinner (provided).  After dinner run your own activities in the evening in the large Mill building.  Talent shows or group games are a popular choice.

After breakfast, pack up before taking a walk along the Chimney Trail (self-guided) or hire a mountain bike to explore some of the surrounding bush tracks.  Head off after morning tea, with a packed lunch for a stopover during your journey home.

Additional options (extra costs apply):

  • Go caving, kayaking, abseiling, rock-climbing or mountain biking on a fully guided tour with an experienced instructor.
  • Have a surfing or stand up paddle board lesson.
  • Hike the Cape to Cape Track.

The price guide allows for self-guided activities unless otherwise noted, with all transport and supervision to be provided by the group organiser.  Food supplies provided (and semi-prepared) for groups to cook up themselves (instruction sheets provided).  Groups must prepare, serve and clean up for themselves, or additional costs will apply.  All meals are planned for easy preparation (or are semi prepared), requiring one adult supervisor/co-ordinator and a small team of helpers for 30 – 60 minutes before each meal.
