We do things a bit differently here… protect the environment, enjoy nature and pay less for your accommodation…

We are not a traditional hotel or caravan park / tourist park, we are an environmentally focussed eco-camp inside a national park and offer spacious bush sites and rustic accommodation with clean modern facilities and a chance to relax and enjoy the spectacular natural environment.  We are environmentally focussed and proactive in ensuring our guests tread lightly on the natural environment, as well as respecting and conserving nature, so that we may offer a unique eco experience to future generations.

Linen is not supplied though can be hired.  We try to encourage you to bring your own to reduce the environmental impacts of laundering sheets after a short stay.

  • If you are staying in the safari tents, lodge or cabins, you just need to bring your own towels, sheets and pillow cases.
  • If you are staying in the dorms, you will also need a quilt or sleeping bag and a pillow.

If you are unable to bring your own bedding and linen, you can hire from us for $10 per person per stay for beds and $3 per person per stay for towels.  Please book it in advance (as we use an external linen hire service).

All accommodation has fans, we do provide solar powered air-conditioning in the lounge rooms of the lodge and cabins – for use on the few very hot days - though this only works when the sun is shining (and is unlikely to be needed at other times)… It only reaches over 30 degrees Celsius during the day for around 20 days each year, and the temperature usually drops as soon as the sun sets in Margaret River. We do have a lot of shade from the surrounding trees for summer, and log fires in the cabins and lodge for warmth in winter, as well as campfire pits in the campground for that old style camping experience.

Are you looking for a party… if so, please book the whole facility or book somewhere else!

In consideration of all of our guests, we strictly enforce a ‘no noise after 9pm’ policy and if you fail to adhere to this you will be asked to leave.  We also ask that if you are playing music at any time, that you only do so very quietly inside your room or van as others around you may have different tastes in music.

Please note we are not a youth hostel, if you are looking for a long stay hostel or a party spot – you will NOT find it here.

Excessive noise, anti-social behaviour or drunkenness will result in eviction.

No schoolies/leavers celebrations, buck/hens or unaccompanied people under the age of 18 permitted to stay.

Minimum Stays - Minimum stay periods apply for special events, long weekends and school holidays.

Working towards a smoke-free facility

Smokers may only smoke in designated ‘smokers zone’ to minimise bush fire risk and prevent butts from being littered around the National Park.  Please do not smoke near other guests or common facilities (café, playground, mill building, etc).

Payments and cancellation

All rates are set and charged in $AUD. Full payment is required at the time of booking. If more than 14 days’ notice is given for a reservation cancellation (or change), guests will be entitled to a refund less a $AUD50.00 cancellation fee for each reservation (multiple reservations or group bookings attract a cancellation fee for each room, site or bed reserved). Please ensure you take note of your cancellation receipt number to ensure your cancellation is fully processed.  We recommend all guests take out travel insurance prior to booking to cover injury, illness, employment changes, adverse weather conditions or any other issues which may arise.
