Margaret River is a 280 km drive or three hour drive south of Perth in Western Australia.

Wharncliffe Mill is a short bush walk or bike ride, two kilometres north of Margaret River town centre.  The location can be found on google maps here.  It sits inside the Bramley National Park and is surrounded by walk and cycle trails.


Driving directions


From Perth (or from the North)


Head south on the Kwinana Freeway which becomes the Forrest Highway, and follow the signs to Bunbury, then Busselton.  Continue on once this becomes the Bussell Hwy (State Route 10) to Margaret River, turn right onto Carters Rd (600 meters before Margaret River town centre).  After 1 kilometre turn right (follow the signs for Wharncliffe Mill).  Follow our driveway for approximately 800 meters.

From Margaret River (or from the south)


Head north on Bussell Hwy (State Route 10) from Margaret River (town centre), after approximately 600 meters turn left onto Carters Rd.  After 1 kilometre turn right (follow the signs for Wharncliffe Mill). Follow our driveway for approximately 800 meters.




South West Coach Lines operates daily between Perth and Margaret River.  Fares are approximately $49.50 per adult or $137.50 for a family of four each way.  They also pick up and drop off at the international and domestic airports as well as other stops en-route.
